Two years after the release of their first album, The Pulsebeats come back with "Do not turn your fucking back on me", a declaration of principles on a vinyl 7” in the old-fashioned way. This is an EP for dancing and humming, with three really direct songs, fast and full of melody, closer to punk rock than to the power pop of their debut album. You can find influences from Ramones, Jay Reatard, Buzzcocks, Social Distortion, The Nerves ...

In these times of widespread pessimism and of pseudo-intellectual intimistic pop, The Pulsebeats bet more than ever for fun and revelry. That's their message: rock and roll for drinking beers and shaking your hips, and why not?, insulting corrupt politicians who are trying to make our existence bitter.

Dos años después de la presentación de su primer álbum, The Pulsebeats vuelven a la carga con “Don’t turn your fucking back on me”, toda una declaración de principios en single de vinilo a la vieja usanza. Se trata de un EP para bailar y tararear, con tres temas muy directos, rápidos y llenos de melodía, más próximos al punk rock que al power pop que encontrábamos en su disco debut. Podéis encontrar influencias de Ramones, Jay Reatard, Buzzcocks, Social Distortion, The Nerves…

En estos momentos de pesimismo generalizado y de auge del pop intimista pseudo-intelectual, The Pulsebeats apuestan más que nunca por la diversión y la juerga. Ese es su mensaje: rock and roll para tomar unas cervezas y mover el esqueleto, y ya de paso meterse con el político corrupto de turno que intenta amargarnos la existencia. De hecho, Nathan, letrista del grupo, ha recuperado la crítica social que era tan característica en su etapa como cantante de The Vipers (UK), como se puede ver en el título del tema que da nombre al trabajo, y que hace referencia a como los políticos se desentienden de los problemas de los ciudadanos cuando más se les necesita.
