Escrita y grabada durante las primeras semanas de la pandemia cuando se quedó encerrado en la maravillosa ciudad de Filadelfia.
“Twenty Twenty explica cómo me sentí durante los meses de marzo y abril de 2020. Acababa de aterrizar en el aeropuerto internacional de Filadelfia y mi hermano Billy estaba esperando para recogerme y sus primeras palabras fueron ¨hermano, me sorprende que te dejaran entrar!!¨. No tenía ni idea de qué estaba hablando!! Mi maravillosa esposa Mayra y yo vivimos en un pequeño pueblo costero llamado Denia en España y sabíamos que estaba sucediendo “algo”, ¡pero no exactamente qué! (no nos gusta mucho ver noticias o programas de actualidad, así que estábamos un poco "fuera de onda", por así decirlo). Los siguientes días me enteraría de lo que estaba sucediendo en el mundo. Tenía trabajo y conciertos planeados para los siguientes 3 meses en Estados Unidos y Australia y todos esos planes se me habían caído. ¡y mi única opción era intentar volver a España! ......... bueno, había alguna otra opciónantes de irme de España. Había planeado con mi viejo amigo Jamie Mahon grabar algunas canciones con su GRAN banda St James and the Apostles en su maravilloso Studio Green Rock Recorders de Filadelfia, así que le llamé y le pregunté si todavía había se podía hacer considerando la situación. Sus palabras fueron ¨¡JODER, sí Johnny! ¿Por qué no?¨ ¡Esto porque era el empujón que necesitaba! ¡Al menos tenía la oportunidad de hacer música! ¡Así que eso hicimos! Grabamos 8 o 9 canciones y Twenty Twenty es la primera muestra de estas sesiones "

Written and recorded during the first few weeks of the PLANDEMIC! while i was stranded in the wonderful city of brotherly love Philadelphia.
Twenty Twenty explains how i feeling during the months of March and April 2020, I had just touched down into Philadelphia International airport and my brother Billy was waiting to pick me up and his first words were ¨ brother I'm surprised they let you in!!¨ i had no idea what he was talking about!! Me and my wonderful wife Mayra live in a smallish seaside town called Denia in Spain and we knew there was ¨something¨ happening but not exactly what! (we ain't much for watching news or current affairs programs, so we were kinda ¨outta the loop¨ so to speak) The next few days i was to learn what was happening around the globe, I had work planned and concerts planned for the next 3 months in America and Australia and all those plans were now off the table! and the only thing left on the table was trying to get back home to Spain! ......... well there was one more thing on that table, before i left Spain i had made a plan with my old buddy Jamie Mahon to record some songs with his GREAT band St James and the Apostles in their wonderful studio Green Rock Recorders in Philadelphia, So i called Jamie and asked if there still was a chance to do this considering our current situation? his words were ¨FUCK yeah Johnny! why wouldn't we?¨ this o´cause was the kinda shot in the arm i needed! Now I still had the chance to make some music! so make some music we did! We recorded 8 or 9 songs? and this song Twenty Twenty is the first taste of these sessions.
